Dues to state and national bodies
If your club pays its federation a set amount for each member, renuzy counts your members, works out what is owed, gives you the report and reminds you before it is due.
- Go to Federation dues and add the body: its name, the amount per member, which membership options and which members count, whether a household counts once or each person counts, the counting date and the due date. Both repeat every year.
- Tick the columns the body asks for on its list of names, such as last name, first name and mailing address.
- On the counting date renuzy counts your members by itself and keeps the list of names as it was that day. You can press Count now sooner if the body needs the number early.
- Print the report or download the CSV and the list of names, and send them with your check or upload.
- renuzy emails the owner and treasurer 30, 14 and 7 days before the money is due, the day before and on the day. When you have sent it, press Mark as paid and add the check number.
If it is not marked paid by the due date, renuzy emails again 3, 7, 14 and 30 days late, then every 30 days until 120 days late. Each email says how late it is and what is still missing, and links to the page where you finish it. Each goes once, between 9am and 6pm your time, never two on one day, and they stop the moment you press Mark as paid. To switch any of them off, open Reminders to the treasurer on the Federation dues page and untick it.
A federation that runs on renuzy itself reminds its chapters on the same days, and its office gets the list of chapters that missed the due date the day after, then once a week while any are still missing. Its Chapters page shows each of those as Missed with how many days late, and its Reminders and the missed list box switches any of them off.
The Federation dues page shows a tile for each body, its counting and due dates in a row of days, and how each member's share splits between the bodies. A body's own page shows who was counted by membership as a ring, the steps from counting day to paid, and the count year by year.
No money moves through renuzy for this. It is money the club owes out, so it never counts as dues income in your reports. If your dues include the federation's share, tick that box and members' receipts show that part separately.
