All help · Setting up and handing over
Handing over to a new treasurer
To hand over, go to Handover, press Hand over to a new treasurer, add their name and email, and press Start the changeover.
- Go to Handover and press Hand over to a new treasurer.
- Type the new treasurer's name and email.
- Choose what happens to your own access and from which day: Read only for 30 days, then removed, or Removed.
- Press Start the changeover.
- Work down the steps together and tick each one when it is done: the handover pack, Stripe, the bank, where member replies go, and whose card pays for renuzy.
The new treasurer gets a sign in link, how the club is set up, and one short task a day for their first week. On the day you picked, renuzy changes your access by itself.
If something goes wrong
The new treasurer did not get the sign in link
On the changeover page press Send the sign in link again, and ask them to look in spam.
A step has been sitting for days
After 3 days renuzy reminds the person the step needs, at most 3 times. You can also tick it yourself when it is done.
The bank still has the old treasurer
renuzy cannot change the bank for you. The page says what most banks ask for.
I started it by mistake
Press Cancel this changeover. Access already given stays as it is.
Good to know
- The most important step: if the bank account on your Stripe account is a past treasurer's personal account, change it in Stripe that day.
- Until the day you picked, you keep everything you have now, so you can help.
- Stepping down without a successor? On Handover, under Who has access, step down next to your own name.
