Members checking themselves in
Print a QR poster for the door. Members scan it, tap I'm here, and it counts as attendance.
For an event or a volunteer shift, open Check in poster beside it and print the page. Put it by the door.
- A member points their phone's camera at the code. If they are signed in to their membership page on that phone, they see one big I'm here button.
- If not, they type the email the club has for them and get a check in link by email, which opens the same button.
- Members can also tap I'm here on their own page on the day, and volunteers have it in their reminder email.
Check in only works on the day. An event check in is the same attendance the door uses, so it shows in Came, on the member's record and in the attendance report. A volunteer check in fills in Who came? for you; you still confirm the hours.
The poster prints on one page: the club's colour across the top, the event's name, the QR code on white and two numbered steps. Press Print; the buttons and Need help? do not print.
