Meetings

To keep a meeting, go to Meetings and start a page for it. Type the notes and who came, then press Draft the summary from the notes and send it.

Show meA walkthrough inside your club. You sign in first.
  1. Go to Meetings, type the meeting's name and pick the day.
  2. Press Start the page. Link it to an event first if there is one, so the people marked as there count toward attendance.
  3. Type the agenda and the notes. They save by themselves every few seconds, and the word Saved shows next to Notes.
  4. Under Who came, find each person, tick them and press Save who came.
  5. Under Action items, add what needs doing, who will do it and by when.
  6. Paste the recording link if the meeting was on Zoom, YouTube or Google Drive.
  7. Press Draft the summary from the notes, read it, choose who gets it and press Send it.

Members find the summary on their club page. Nothing goes to members until an officer sends it, because notes sometimes hold things not everyone should read.

If something goes wrong

My notes did not save

Look for the word Saved next to Notes. If it is not there, press Save under the notes.

The summary says something wrong

Change it in the box before you send it. renuzy only drafts it, and you decide what goes.

I cannot type in the notes

A board member with read only access can read meetings but not change them.

Good to know
  • With a due date and an email, renuzy sends the person one reminder two days before an action item is due, from the club. Anything still open shows at the top of the next meeting's page and on Open action items.
  • Already have the minutes written up? Paste them or upload a file under Already have the minutes written up?, and renuzy drafts the summary.
  • Choose what members see under What members see: just the summary, or the full notes too. Agendas, who came, action items and recordings stay with officers.
  • Counting a quorum? See quorum at a meeting.
Questions people ask

Why does the count differ from the door?

A meeting counts the people marked under Who came on its page. That is a different number from the door's check ins for a linked event.
