Approving new members
If your club approves each new member before they pay, applications wait for you. Approve sends a welcome with their link to pay; Decline sends a polite note.
Each application is a card with the person's name, email and when they applied, and a big Approve beside Decline.
Turn this on under Club page with Approve each new member before they pay. The join page then says Apply to join, and nobody is charged when they apply.
- The owner, treasurer and membership volunteers get an email when someone applies, and your Home page shows how many are waiting.
- Go to Applications from your Home page, or the person's record.
- Press Approve. They get a welcome email with their own link, where they pay their dues and get their card.
- Or press Decline. They get a kind note saying the club cannot take them now, and they are left out of club emails from then on.
Each decision is recorded with who made it and when, on their record and in the club's history. You can change the wording of both emails under Messages.
